'Donna' Makeup Look
So I know....I was doing so good about posting and then.....nothing. Sorry :(. But I am back and not letting my lazyness take over! Todays look is Donna!
1. Take a white liner and use it as a base for your shadows.
2. Take a shimmer or matte bright pink and place it on the lid blending the edges lightly.
3. Take plumish purple or bright if you want and blend it in the crease; focus the color on the outer corner.
4. Take black liner (pencil, liquid, gel) and liner upper lash line. Keep the line somewhat thin; dont go to crazy on me!
5. The apply black mascara and some natural pink lipstick and you are done!
I hope you guys liked this look! I will (pinky promise this time) be back tomorrow with the final look in the Carrie Diaries Makeup Look Series!

'Maggie' Makeup Look
So today's look is going to be Maggie. In the first episode she wore a look like this so I took it and toned it down just a smidge for spring and summer. Let's get to it!
1. So first I used a white eye liner as a base for my colored shadows.
2. Then I took a bright coral and put it on the lid and a greenish yellow and put it in the crease from my e.l.f 144 shadow palette.
3. Next I took a light blue liner and lined my upper las line winging it out.
4. Then I took a brighter blue and placed it over top of the lighter liner.
5. Then i placed the white liner on my lower waterline and used some black mascara.
6. I finsihed off with my maybelline baby lips in cherry me for a fun brighter but still subtly lip. You could rock the orange if you wanted but I didnt have a color like the one in the pic.
Hope you liked this look. I will try and have another look up this weekend but if I don't if will be up on monday! Thanks for stopping by and have a beautiful day. And if I don't talk to you again then Happy Easter!

'Dorrit Bradshaw' Makeup Look
(Not my pic all right to orginal pic owner)
Alrighty so for todays 'The Carrie Diaries' look we are doing Dorrit, Carrie's younger sister. Dorrit is rebelious and one of my favorites on the show. Let's get started!
1. I literally took and L.A. colors sinlge black eye shadow and a eyeshadow brush and patted this on my lid blending it softly into the crease at the edges.
2. Next I took a black slide on eye pencil from NYX and lined my lower waterline.
3. I used some black mascara to make my lashes pop a little since everything on the eye is black. Colored mascara would be awesome with this look to.
4. To get Dorrits dark berry lip she likes to wear on the show I had to mix a deep purple and dark red together. And then you are done.
Dorrit is an awesome charactor who is really trying to find herself and it isn't easy which I admire. So I hope you liked this look and once again another 'The Carrie Diaries' look is headed your way sometime tomorrow. I have family coming in town so it might not be up until tomorrow night.

Rainbow Liner (Eye Look)
With spring and summer just around the corner this look is perfect for those who want to make a statment. It easy to do and isn't to much of a plunge into the colorful world.
I took the Wet 'n' wild color icon white eye liner pencil ($1.00) and liner my upper lash line. Then I took the 144 color eyeshadow pallete from E.L.F. cosmetics ($15.00) and used red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple to create the rainbow effect. I finished off with NYX's silde on eye pencil in jet black ($8.00) and covergirl's lashblast mascara in black ($7.00).
Hope you enjoyed this quick 'recap' tutorial. I will be better about photos of the products and process in the future. I am so happy to be back and posting again. I will see you on Thursday!

2013 NOTD
HAPPY 2013!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am back once again with a quick nail of the day for New Years.
This nail look is so easy so I will walk you through it.
Alright so I started off with using the white polish from NailsChic basic nail art set. I put one coat on my thumb nail, index nail, and pinky nail. And then two coats on the middle and ring finger nails.
For the glitz I used Sation's polish in "Diamond Diggin' Diva". I put two coats on my thumb, index, and pinky nails, Then I put a coat on the tips of my middle and ring nails and lightly brushed it up to create the fade. I got this polish from a discount store for a few bucks so I am not sure of the normal price.
And for the '2013' I used the black NailsChic polish but instead I used the small art tip of the bottle.
Hope you all have a safe and happy new year!!!
xoxo,
K
