Top 3 Dark Lipsticks

Hello, thanks for stopping by. Today I am going to share my three favorite dark lipsticks for fall and winter.

This first lipstick is by Wet' 'n' Wild and is in the shade '508A Black Orchid'. This is a dark, vampy red color that is gorgeous. It has a nice satin finish to it and is only around a dollar at the drugstore!

Here is a close up of it on my lips. It goes on smoothly but I would recomend a lip liner because it is quite dark and might feather. Cover Girl's Smoothwear lip liner in 'Raisin' works well with any of these colors.

The next lipstick is Revlon's Lip Butter in 'Red Velvet'. It is very pigmented and also quite moisturizing. This can be found in drugstores for around seven dollars. This is more of a softer color then the previous.

As you can see it is more sheer and little bit more wearable for every day then 'Black Orchid'. It glides on very easly and lasts nicely as well.

Lastly is Ulta's 'Sheer Plum'. I got this in an Ulta makeup kit a while back and I just passed it over. But I tryed it on recently and fell in love. This is a perfect plum color with a nice shimmer that isn't to over-powering. I am not sure if you can still get this but Ulta has a similar color called 'Rasin' that I think would be close.

I love this sheen that this lipstick gives off and I hope you can find a similar shade. Ulta lipsticks retail for around eight dollars. And that is all.

I hope you liked this and have a
beautiful day.

Bright Eyed (Simple Makeup Look)

Today I have a Simple, Nautral makeup look for you.

This look is great for school or just a simple everyday look. I only used four products to create this look and is super quick and easy.

First, I used this shimmery champagne eyeshadow by Maybelline in "Champagne Fizz". This color is very brightening and adds a beautiful light to the eyes. I placed this on the center of my eyelid, the inner corner of my eye, and lightly on my browbone. This will simply help the eyes look more awake without doing a full on eye look. Also no brushes are required. You can find these single shadows at drugstores for about three or four dollars.

Next, I used this black Slide On Eye Pencil by NYX in "Jet Black". I placed this on my tightline (or upper waterline) and on the very edge on my lower waterline as well. This eyeliner is quite creamy and smooth, making it go on simply. You can find these in some drugstores as well as Ulta for about eight dollars.

Then I used CoverGirl's LashBlast mascara in "Black". This mascara is great for natural and full looking lashes. I simply lightly applied one coat on my lashes. These mascaras retail at drugstores for around seven dollars.

Finally, I applied Maybelline's Baby Lips lip balm in "Cherry Me". This is great natural, red tinted balm that works great for everyday wear and is a favorite of mine. These can be found a drugstores for about three dollars.

I hope you enjoyed this simple everyday look and you give it a try.
 Have a beautiful day.

Ocean Breeze (NOTD)

Hello! So today I have an Ocean Inspired nail of the day for you.

Like I said I was inspired by the ocean. The yellow/gold color represents the sun and happiness. The blue and white represent the waves. And the silver glitter reminded me of the shimmer of the waves when the light reflects on them.

The yellow polish is by Pure Ice and is in the color 'Excuse Me'. I really like this polish because it has a subtle shimmer to it without being glittery. Personally I recomend using about three coats of the polish on its own for more opaque color pay off. I purchase these polishes at Walmart for about two or three dollars.

To create the wave effect I used the Sinful Colors Nail Art polishes in 'No More' (blue), 'Fashionista' (glitter), and 'Bad Chick' (white). These are really great polishes because they have a thin, long brush so it's easy to create those small flicks and lines. I find these polishes at drugstores with the other Sinful Colors nail polishes for about two dollars.

I hope you liked this 'Nail of the Day'. I am going to try to post every Sunday. Have a beautiful day.

Golden Dreams (Nail of the Day)

Hey! So I have 'Nail of the Day' for you! Hope you like it.
I am going to try and post at least once a week. Thank you so much for stopping by! :)

 (Natural Light)

Today I am wearing a beautiful combo of a perrywinkle blue and golden glitter polish. I think these two colors complement eachother perfectly and are a great summer to fall transition.

The perrywinkle color is Revlon's "Dreamer"(410). This color is a creme, meaning there is no shimmer what so ever in it. I think that you can easily get away with two coats of this polish, but you may want three if you like it really opaque. You can find this polish at drugstores for around five dollars.

The next color is China Glaze's "I'm Not Lion"(1080). First off the name is totally adorable. Second this color is from their 'Safari' collection which may not be avalible too much longer (so go get you some!) This color is a beautiful light golden, fine glitter polish with some rainbow reflects. Three coats of this color on its own is very pretty, but like in todays nail look, it is also a great top coat. China Glaze polishes normally range in price from five to seven dollars and can be found at beauty stores like Ulta or Sally's Beauty Supply.

The top/base coat I used is Wet n' Wild's Wild Shine polish in "Clear Nail Protector" (shown in photo above). This particular polish was one dollar at my local drugstore.

  Have a beautiful day
